A Month in ON&OFF

The first month was full of new experiences, for one we had new training courses every Saturday, the first one was divided in two parts we had in the morning a formation about dealing with finances during the creation of a project delivered by Alejandro Ramonda, followed by a training course concerning time management that was really helpful and relatable with Abel Yécora Sáenz.

 During the week I started taking part in the workshops with the infantil groups on Wednesday and Friday and the juvenil which also takes place on Fridays. It has been really fulfilling and fun for me to be able to assist Silvia in these classes and see what they were doing, I am really looking forward to see the evolution of that ! We also helped with the groups' texts and lines, and got to work in the almacén (among other things). The following weekends we took part in Yo Elijo with Begoña from Coaching Camp, which I would qulify as motivation speechs and sharing with other workers of the association, it took place on two different days and I still feel like it helped me change my vision on a lot of things, how to manage anxiety, sadness (related to the recent circumstances or not) and it helped me raise the bar concerning "how to treat yourself". We kept on with our different tasks in the office, helping around as we could and arrived to another weekend during which we had the opportunity of learning more about communication and visibility in the morning with Raquel Dávalos and Mar Arrese, and a crash course with Carmen Méndez and Juan Nieto about technology in the afternoon ! 

Most recently (I´m talking about the past week) we were part (Myrto and I) of the formación a la llegada, which took place online -for four days- on the platform Zoom, and included lots of different educating games and activites to help meet eachother as Volunteers from the European Corps, and know more about ther latter's functionnement, they answered our questions and encouraged us to share our fears and objectives for our projects in general.

It was overall a very busy month !
